Learn the fundamentals, and progress to earn your Skipper Passport. This is your key to unlocking sailing around the world. By earning both your International Certificate of Competency (ICC) and your International Proficiency Certificate (IPC), the world becomes your playground.

The Gyre
A Glimpse into The Gyre: Our Global Exploration Club.
The Gyre is the heart of Project E2—our private, invitation-only exploration club for graduates. This is where your hard-earned skills unlock the world’s most breathtaking and remote destinations, from the glacial fjords of Greenland to the sun-drenched atolls of the South Pacific. You’ll join a community of fellow adventurers on curated, small-group expeditions that go far beyond any ordinary holiday.
The Foundation
From Trainee to World-Ready Licensed Skipper.
Your Journey Starts Here
Every great adventure begins with the first step. "The Start" is your introduction to the thrill of sailing, a four-day, hands-on course on our responsive keelboats. We focus on the core fundamentals of steering, sail trim, and safety in a fun and supportive environment. This is where you'll catch the sailing bug and build the confidence needed to advance to a larger cruising yacht.
Learning to Crew
This is where you become a true crew member. This is an immersive journey on our large cruising yachts and catamarans. Building on your foundational skills, this course is about becoming an active, indispensable part of a voyaging team. You'll get significant time at the helm and learn the practical seamanship skills needed to contribute to every aspect of a coastal passage.
Skippers Passport
This is where you earn your command. "The Skipper's Passport" is the pinnacle of The Foundation training, an exciting liveaboard course designed to transform you from competent crew into a confident and capable skipper. This certificate is the key that unlocks a world of independent adventure, giving you the authority to lead your own crew and charter yachts around the globe.
Apply for Your Licenses
You have done your training, gained the skills, and now you can apply for your International Proficiency Certificate (IPC) and your Interational Certificate of Competency (ICC). This opens a whole new world of exploration. We are in a unique position to offer you BOTH licenses to ensure you can sail anywhere in the world.
